Overview
The Bengalon Coal Mine is located in East Kalimantan and is part of the large cluster of Sangatta and Bengalon coal mines of PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC).
Highlights
These KPC mines have some of the largest reserves of thermal coal, globally. The mine has an annual production capacity of approximately 60 Mtpa of coal and is amongst the largest coal exporters globally. Thriveni works as a mining contractor in one of these mines, together with other large sub-contractors like Thiess, PAMA and others.
